The Book Critic

At this point, I must consider the possibility that I have writer's block. It is not that I am unable to write, or out of ideas, but that all of my ideas sound stupid to me - and if I don't enjoy them myself, why subject anyone else? Non-personal nonfiction is still easy, because all one has to do is explain in an orderly fashion. It is clear what does and doesn't belong - does it increase understanding of the subject for the target audience? Fiction is another animal, as is personal narrative. I am hostile to this journal entry. Hopefully it is therapy and therefore not valueless.
