Done and done. I won't be updating my journal much, if at all, until a project I've been working on is more solid; in the meantime, I'll still be reading and posting comments for my buddies when I have the opportunity.
Now that I've got some time, here's the more elaborate response: After reading your description of Ciro, I couldn't even help but fall in love with him. Sheesh. It is quite accurate, though, last I heard from him. When I read his journal entry about a long-distance relationship, I would never have guessed who, but it sounded like whomever he was talking about was finally the right person for him, so I was quite pleased. Then, after reading this, it all just kinda fell into place like a game of tetris. "OH!! That explains EVERYthing!" And I advanced to the next level.
I couldn't be happier for the both of you save for the distance. I know how cumbersome that can be. Sometimes it feels like just hearing the other person breathe over the phone is enough of a comfort that you wouldn't want to put it down, but you'd feel silly for it or that you were taking up the other person's time if you didn't. Normally I'm not the type to condone emotions over intellect, but I think it's fair to say that issuing intelligence might not be the cause of your work-around... I think that relying on your instincts or emotions that no pety distance can come between the two of you should be enough to let you know that he'll still be there when you need him. Hope that helps, and we'll be taking good care of Ciro until you return.
Permission!
